Homes built today are required to have smoke detectors that are interconnected to ensure the safety standards for newer homes are meant in accordance with city fire codes. Especially in larger homes, having interconnected fire detectors on each floor that can detect smoldering fires and smoke alerts are a good investment for your family and the insurance companies.
